Rudi McDaniels

Rudi grew up in Northern Minnesota, went to college in East Grand Forks for nursing…"decided if I were a patient in a hospital I would rather be dead than have me for a nurse". So after her first year, started working at a big corporation in customer service in Minnesota. Moved to the Black Hills in 2010 with the support of her aunt and uncle. Attended college at Western Dakota Tech and graduated with her business management and marketing degree. In 2013 she bought Dry Creek Coffee, roasting and selling whole sale coffee. In 2015 bought Desperados restaurant and owned and operated that from 2015-2020. She has one child, Elizabeth. Got married in 2023 to what she would like to say is her high school sweetheart, however even though they graduated from the same small school in Northern Minnesota, didn’t notice each other until he reached out much later in life. He is a contractor which is what started the initial thought for getting her real estate career started. She loves customer service and taking care of people, which was why she loved the hospitality industry. How much more gratifying could it be to help someone in the fun part of their life, with buying a home. Helping them through the hard part and making it a positive experience, building relationships, that’s what life is all about! She loves the Black Hills, in her spare time the family enjoys paddle boarding and hiking together. She also coaches the Hill City High School cheer team and subs at the school to help out in the school community.
